A little about me...

I am from Prince George's County, Maryland. I am currently a sophomore studying Computer and Information Science at the University of Pennsylvania. I started learning how to code when I was 16 and ever since I've been determined to learn more. My interests lie in robotics, AI, ML, cybersecurity, and algorithm theory. I also enjoy making webapps. I'm super interested in entrepreneurship and want launch my own complany ASAP. Work Experience

I am currently a software engineering intern at Contrast Security, a cybersecurity startup. I do all sorts of nifty things including Alexa hacks, employee hackathons and barbecuing. I am currently developing IAST and RASP applications for Python and GoLang.

I am a teaching assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. Currently I TA CIS 160, a discrete mathematics course. Previously I TAed CIS 120 which is Penn's second level programming course. I am comfortable teaching recitations as well as working with students in office hours.

I am currently a web-app developer for Pennlabs. I work on applications useful for Penn students including PennCourseReview and EventsAtPenn. New projects are on the way so stay in touch!

I was a high school researcher at the Robotics Realization Lab at the University of Maryland.I did research on developing robotic automation solutions in the assistive healthcare field. I also became a co-author on a paper accepted by the 2016 IEEE CASE conference. Click on the link below to see some of my work in action!

Automated Robot Bed Bathing close

The central idea of this project was "How can we use robotics to automate nursing tasks?" The idea of automating bathing of elderly and disabled patients was suggested by mentor. Basically I could draw a stain on the mannequin, which the Kinect would detect. I would then compute a cleaning plan for the robot to execute. I programmed the Kinect in C++, manipulating its pointclouds with PCL and OpenCV. The robot was programmed in Java.

This is the second iteration of my website. The picture for this card was the background picture for the first. I see this website as a vehicle for me to experiment with design, something I've been trying to work on. Building this has definitely developed my understanding of CSS. Looking to improve the website in its 3rd iteration.
